It’s been a while since any proposals have been posted on LWS, so I thought I’d share this one I ran across earlier today. While the video is a bit long IMHO, I think the idea is cute/creative and I have a feeling AI would love anything cupcake related! PS: This proposal begs the question: how would you feel if ALL of your friends knew you were going to be proposed to before you? Would it bother you? I definitely love a good surprise so I think I would have found it a bit odd, personally… but the idea is still sweet.

Okay, this is the last wedding post I promise! I was looking at Pinterest this afternoon and saw my face… which, let me tell you, is a weird feeling at first, hah! So, I’ve always thought the Christmas proposal is a bit tired, IMHO. (It is just so… uncreative? C’mon guys, you can do better.)

I had the honor of being a part of the most stress-free wedding EVER this past weekend in Milwaukee. Not only was Stephanie the most chill bride I’ve ever known - I’m pretty sure she may be superhuman. (A stunning superhuman, of course. Take a look at these pics - what a knockout!) Not sure if Steph is still reading LWS but I just wanted to give her a shout-out for being such an inspiration! She and her hubby know how to throw one rockin’ party.

Preparing to be Practical « A Practical Wedding
Okay, so whenever I get wedding anxiety (ie: 24/7) I always seem to stumble upon some brilliant blog post from A Practical Wedding that mimics exactly how I am feeling. Whether it is family being crazy (we were honestly about to push the big red “cancel” button on the wedding two weeks ago and just go elope) or people astonished that I’m not having floral centerpieces or some other tradition (I’m just not made of money, so GFY) - APW makes me breathe a little deeper about it all and helps me to keep things in perspective. Major, major kudos to Meg, the blogger. She actualy lives in SF - I think I need to track her down and give her a hug.
