London-based illustrator Kate Wilson has some cute and quirky illustrations on her blog, little doodles. This peplum piece filed under “strange fashion” made me laugh and I think a “what’s in my bag” display is much more fun when it’s illustrated. Check out her blog for more whimsical doodles. The most beautiful wedding website of two complete strangers

I am only 1/4 of the way in and felt you girls NEED to see this. ~LP

I’m a big fan of snail mail and this print by  Mary Kate McDevitt is a good reminder to send out some more hand-written letters. Love, Nik

Rue Magazine | May/June Issue

I’ve found my happy place: it’s at 10,000 feet. Currently on a cross-country flight with nowhere to go for the next 5+ hours, I have finally found time to catch up on emails, Pinterest, RSS feeds and a big back-log of e-mags that I’ve been stockpiling. There were some good issues lately! Check ‘em out if you’re interested:

I’ve been trying to get myself back into a routine after work threw a wrench in things over the past few months and realized I wanted to take a hard look at my priorities before just jumping back to the way things were before.
This quote from the blogger at Court and Hudson feels very fitting right now. Might need to pause, reflect and do a little Photoshop action on myself for a change. Love, Nik

Styling Kitchen Countertops

This is not at all on my radar for my 20 sq ft kitchen, but I did like browsing. I feel like Laura’s kitchen could be showcased. That pork art alone is worth a photo op. -AI

How awesome are these Woodcut Maps? You can take any location on Google Maps and have it transformed into a lovely woodcut piece. I am a big sucker for maps and nostalgic places, so I may have to look into this… Love, Nik

Today marks 6 months I’ve been married to a fabulous man and to celebrate I ordered a custom bus scroll with places that have special meaning to us. (ie: where we’ve met, lived,  got married, honeymooned, etc.)
I’d been wanting to order one of these prints for some time and this little anniversary felt like the perfect excuse. I ordered from the Transit Designs Etsy shop and am super happy with the result! The designer, Michael, is really fast and accommodating and I’d highly recommend ordering from him if you’d like to add a scroll to your home, too!
