15 Ways to Stay Married for 15 Years
I thought Lydia Netzer’s article for the Huffington Post about “15 Ways to Stay Married for 15 Years” was quite poignant, inspirational and notably a bit different than other tips I’ve read before. Relationships aren’t always easy and she has some good tips for keeping yours happy.
Choice quote from her tip on “Loyalty”, because I always love this description of relationships:
You and your spouse are a team of two. It is you against the world. No one else is allowed on the team, and no one else will ever understand the team’s rules. This is okay.

I just stumbled across this vintage Peanuts book, “Love Is Walking Hand in Hand” by Charles Schultz and it got me feeling sentimental. The book follows the Peanuts gang as they “define love through the simple acts and moments of everyday life.” Who knew cartoons could be so profound and spot-on? Love, Nik
It’s been a while since any proposals have been posted on LWS, so I thought I’d share this one I ran across earlier today. While the video is a bit long IMHO, I think the idea is cute/creative and I have a feeling AI would love anything cupcake related! PS: This proposal begs the question: how would you feel if ALL of your friends knew you were going to be proposed to before you? Would it bother you? I definitely love a good surprise so I think I would have found it a bit odd, personally… but the idea is still sweet.
This is so sweet. Photographer Lauren Fleishman snapped portraits and captured the love stories of NYC-area couples who have been together for over 50 years for her project, Love Ever After.
She plans to compile all of the stories into an art book and you can contribute to her project by backing her on Kickstarter, too. Love, Nik

Are you an Instagram addict like me? Well, if so, there’s an adorable new service called Lovestagram created by a friend of mine that allows you to send a personalized valentine created with Instagram photos.
Kaitlyn, the creator, actually coded out the site/service as a Valentine’s gift to her boyfriend, who happens to be the Instagram co-founder. How sweet is that? I wish I could say I had the same determination to code something for Nate, so I have to give her major props for her hard work! Very impressive. Love, Nik

Love Injections
Okay, so my first reaction would probably be to clean this up (god, I am OCD) but I think it is super adorable and sweet… literally. Want some ideas on how to surprise your amor (or maybe give him some hints on how to surprise YOU?) this artist created a book and some apps with a bunch of different, very unique, ideas to create a “Love Injection” for your sweetie.
