London-based illustrator Kate Wilson has some cute and quirky illustrations on her blog, little doodles. This peplum piece filed under “strange fashion” made me laugh and I think a “what’s in my bag” display is much more fun when it’s illustrated. Check out her blog for more whimsical doodles. Love, Nik
I’m a big fan of snail mail and this print by Mary Kate McDevitt is a good reminder to send out some more hand-written letters. Love, Nik
Loving the travel postcard series on Wander’s blog. (This one is by Ed Nacional) Now, if only we knew what Wander actually is…

This “To Do” print by Wendy MacNaughton is spot-on and I totally think I need a copy of it on my desk. I need to stop over-thinking everything... Love, Nik
I just stumbled across this vintage Peanuts book, “Love Is Walking Hand in Hand” by Charles Schultz and it got me feeling sentimental. The book follows the Peanuts gang as they “define love through the simple acts and moments of everyday life.” Who knew cartoons could be so profound and spot-on? Love, Nik
Nice thought for the day. Reflect, but don’t dwell on the past. Love, Nik

What a nice, reassuring fact to remember when wanting to make big changes or start something new later in life. I guess you can teach an old dog new tricks, eh? Love, Nik
GOOD Magazine has a funny section called “The Rules,” which they call an “Illustrated Guide to Modern Etiquette.” They just posted a new one, “The Rules of Dieting” today and it’s pretty accurate, no? Love, Nik
Just a few examples from designer Jirka Väätäinen’s blog where he attempts to envision Disney characters in “real life”. Pretty good, don’t you think? Love, Nik
I think I posted the SF map that illustrator Marisa Seguin created a while back, but I just saw she has a MKE one, too! I think this’d be a fun collection to have. (And it made me think of you MKE ladies!) Love, Nik
