Okay, I couldn’t resist doing a round-up of the Vanity Fair Oscar Party dresses. The frocks are usually pretty killer at the VF party so I made sure to peruse the slideshows over breakfast. I have to say, I think Gwyneth looked even better sans cape and Emma’s giant bow grew on me more after her adorable presenting bit. But Angelina… oof. I cannot wait to see what the internet does to make her ridic leg pose into a meme, hah! Love, Nik

Not going to lie, I quite enjoy an excuse to throw on comfy pants, curl up on the couch and just veg out. Needless to say, I put on the Grammy’s tonight, caught up on on my RSS feeds and gawked at the celebrities and rockin’ musical performances. Here are some of my red carpet faves.

Well, award season is underway and as your self-professed resident celebrity junkie on LWS (anyone else out there have a weakness like me?!) I figured I’d share some of my fashion faves from the 2012 SAG Awards. (I didn’t watch it live but I can never resist flipping through the slideshows online the next day...)

As expected, I tended to gravitate towards the simple, similar silhouettes. I guess we’ll see if I am as predictable when the Oscars roll around?! (All signs point to yes..) Love, Nik

I decided to lay low tonight, have some wine + cheese and gawk at celebrities during the Golden Globes. Here are some of my faves from the red carpet. Apparently I am drawn to more simple silhouettes as I wasn’t digging a number of the dresses this year. (Note: I was totally obsessed with the white version of that Reem Acra gown as a wedding dress when I was shopping. Was just a wee bit out of my price range, sadly.)

Pretty much all I wore in Bali was dresses (something you can’t exactly do in SF without some tights and a cardigan) so now I am on a total dress kick. Totally loving the dotted sweetheart dress on the right. Love, Nik
